Info for New Customers on Bottle Deposits & for Deliveries

For New Calor Gas Customers

If you are a new domestic customer looking for propane and butane products, this is how the purchase of your initial bottle/s will proceed. 

  1. Order and pay for your gas bottle online.  If you are a new customer or if you want an extra bottle, please choose the ‘New’ option on the relevant ‘Buy Gas’ product page.
  2. You should complete all your contact details on the online form you’ll complete as part of the purchase process. 
  3. Please add any extra details in the box that’s on the same page.
  4. We will use these details to set up your account 
  5. We will also share your details with Calor. Calor will send you a Calor Cylinder Agreement that covers the one-off charge and the rental of your the cylinder from Calor.
  6. This is why, as part of the initial purchase, you are charged a higher amount for a ‘New’ cylinder, than if you are a returning customer purchasing a ‘Refill’.  The difference between the New price and the Refill price is the deposit for the bottle you have chosen.  You only pay this once. 
  7. Once you have a bottle, then for subsequent purchases, you should click the ‘Refill’ option. We will then then exchange your empty cylinder for a full one.
  8. If and when you no longer need the use of the cylinder, you can return it and you will receive a refund that is equal to the amount calculated using the information in point 7 of the Calor Cylinder Agreement
  9. You will not receive a refund for any gas in the returned cylinder that remains un-used. 
  10. Full T&C’s can be found at the foot of every page on our website and on the Calor Cylinder Agreement that will be sent to the address you use on the initial purchase, as noted above.

If you are an existing / returning Calor Gas customer

If you are a returning domestic customer looking for refill’s of your existing propane and butane products, this is how the purchase of your refill bottle/s will proceed. 

  1. You should order and pay for your gas bottle refill online.  As an existing or returning customer, please choose the ‘Refill’ option on the relevant ‘Buy Gas’ product page.
  2. You should complete your contact details on the online form that you’ll complete as part of the purchase process. 
  3. Please add any extra details you think we need to know in the box that’s on the same page.
  4. If you have ordered refills for the same number of bottles (of the same type) as you already have, or for fewer bottles (of the same type) as you already have, then you will only pay the Refill charge for the bottles delivered.  We will take the empty bottles away when we deliver the new ones. 
  5. If and when you no longer need the use of the cylinder you are renting, you can return it and claim a refund that is equal to the deposit you paid. 
  6. You will not receive a refund for any gas in the returned cylinder that remains un-used.

New business customers

Returning business customers

Camping Gaz customers

The deposits for Camping Gaz bottles are held by Chepstow Fuel Centre.  Proof of purchase of the deposit from us  is required to claim your deposit back when the cylinder is no longer required .  For Camping Gaz purchases there is no cylinder agreement.

Deliveries 

All deliveries are FREE and are scheduled according to our delivery routes. You can get an idea of how often we deliver to your area by checking out our ‘Where We Deliver pages. 

Collections

Collections from: Chepstow Fuel Centre, Unit 12, Bulwark Industrial Estate, Bulwark, Chepstow. NP16 5QZ… are available Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
